I Can't Breathe

I cant breathe.

I see wet muddy grass up on the hill.

I feel the stitch under my ribs.

The squishy mud is like jelly on my feet.

I can't breathe.

I can see a tui singing in the Ponga tree.

The stones in the concrete stab into my feet.

Ba boom ba boom ba boom, my heart beats.

I can't breathe.

The Haunted Whare

THE HAUNTED WHARE

The haunted whare had a dead cat. In the haunted whare many people believe that the cat is the kehua and is living there. Apart from the kehua of the cat there are also many others dwelling in the whare. Suddenly the whare door slammed. I jumped as I was frightened of the noises surrounding me.

My Hero

MY HERO

My hero is proud as a hippopotamus in a ginormous animal house in the zoo.

My hero is happy as a monkey swinging in the trees.

My hero is as proud as a cheetah running fast.

My hero is brave as a gorilla beating his chest.

My hero has brown hair and skin like a cuddly furry bear.

My hero is my Mum.
